True North Technologies Attends 9th Annual EnergyOcean Conference

(Maynard, MA) In June, representatives from True North Technologies navigated to Danvers, Massachusetts to attend the EnergyOcean International Conference and Exhibition. The show is described as focusing on offshore renewable and sustainable power including wind, wave, tidal, thermal, current, solar, and hybrids. Educational offerings included presentations on technologies that are in use and being developed in the generation of clean, offshore renewable energy around the world. A second “track” of programming was for attendees interested in the roadmap of steps required for developing offshore renewable projects. The applications for compasses are numerous, ranging from navigation for AUVs/ROVs/gliders to measurement for profiling instruments.
